People are often confused about Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) and suppose that both can be used similarly. Though, that is not the case. They might feel like they are a similar technology, but they offer different purposes. Basic variances between VR and AR are:
Virtual Reality is entirely virtual, whereas AR uses real-world scenery.
VR users are controlled by the VR system, on the other hand, AR users have control of their real-time presence.
AR can be accessed by a smart device, while VR needs a headset device.
VR only improvises a fictional reality, whereas AR improvises both the Virtual and real world.
